return to sur la mer

After witnessing daybreak at Arambol Beach today, Elizabeth and I drove to nearby Sur La Mer Resort. This was the magical mystical meeting ground of a continual round robin cast of characters. This is where we met the two young men from Los Angeles who went back there and at Scott’s request assembled a luncheon of his friends in his honor. Sur La Mer, where Scott and I fell in love with owners Aneel & Nayan Verman and Scott serenaded Aneel, more than once. Where their big dog Marlon Brando charmed us and charmed Elizabeth and I again today when we delightedly found him in residence. Our om away from om until Scott could no longer walk without a wheelchair, could no longer play ping pong.
