Scott and I woke up prior to daybreak this morning. It didn’t take us but a moment to decide to take advantage of the exceptionally cool morning, perfect conditions for Scott to walk to the beach for sunrise. Scott had the energy to make it there and back on his own steam. We sat on beach chairs enjoying the tranquillity and solitude with a handful of other early risers for about half an hour and then had breakfast. The remainder of the day was spent resting and watching videos at ‘home’ in the privacy of our room while the staff at Sur La Mer is bustling about, gearing up for a full house of lively holiday guests looking to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s.
