If you search this blog for paintings by Scott’s medieval alter ego Scotto Morgani, you’ll find art works from 1603-1604 and now–as of last night–this rare painting from 1606. Is that cat-demon a real being Scotto encountered on the shores of ancient Goa or is it a personal demon coming out to play?
