Summertime for us means kayaking in Maine and enjoying nature. Scott and I both love trees. We’ve seen some magnificent ones on our travels, too. This one is an apple tree from our orchard in Maine, one of 9 apple trees on the property all as old as Scott and my ages added together. That’s pretty humbling when you think about it. There is a massive old growth tree with squirrels scampering upon its limbs that embrace the large picture window Scott is looking out from. Even with the steady monsoon drench these critters continue to frolic, reminding me of another window and some other squirrels.
