The colors, scents, sights, and sounds of India overwhelm the senses. India has so much soul.Scott took this pic at the Amber Fort in Jaipur. This monumental historic fortress sits high on a ridgetop. You can imagine the effort to build it in medieval times and there are no elevators so you have to be fit enough to walk and climb. Our Scotty is pulling that strength out of thin air. His sheer will power to keep on trucking in the face of this illness gives me pause every day.

Scott told me last night that he couldn’t have done this trip without me. The truth is that I couldn’t have done this trip without him. His breadth of knowledge about the history and art, his street smarts about where to go, how to avoid problems while traveling here, the road less traveled….he has been imparting that wisdom to me daily.
