Many have asked if Scott took up painting when he became ill. The answer is no! Scott has been painting for most of his life. This landscape watercolor painting was done in Scott’s Stonington, Maine studio last year. Scott did a series of these inspired by memories of many travels to Italy. Gallerist Susan Hutton dropped by for dinner one night last summer and was smitten with these lush evocative works that she acquired from Scott for her gallery on the spot. We are pleased to report that this one is no longer available, however the Hutton Gallery in Deer Isle has several more.
