the book of flowers

Like many of the traditional detail oriented miniature painting artists in India before him, Scott has painted some miniatures. Shown here, an entire petite sketchbook of flowers. A few of the miniature paintings vary from the floral theme but all are less than 5″ x 3″.All art (c) Scott Morgan 2013

  1. These flower paintings are beautiful. I’ve watched Scotts growth as an artist for many many years but the progress he has made recently while on his journey in India is truly outstanding and noteworthy. being an artist myself I take particular delight in watercolors. From Winslow Homer to Francesco Clemente……I love the medium and realize how incredibly difficult it is to make a successful water color. It’s one of the hardest techniques to master and Scott has not only done that but found his own personal style. By that I mean when you see a Morgan watercolor you know its a Morgan !!! We should all feel grateful that we are included on this journey and able to share the voyage through his amazing little paintings. The flowers are magnificent as is the guy who made them. Bravo and thanks Scott for it all. Hugs and Love….Rizzie

  2. I so enjoyed the new mini series…there needs to be a “show” of Scott’s work, perhaps for starters in High Point! So much is said in each piece…
    Blessings~
