Hey! Where’s the red, white, ‘n’ blue? The buildings draped in patriotic stars ‘n’ stripe bunting? The smell of apple pie and taste of lemonade sold at roadside stands by kids capturing foot traffic from the parade route? Where are all the folks we meet n greet n wish a happy summer n catch up with on their winters and it’s always the same, reassuring, comforting scene? The Fourth of July memories are there…in my heart, chakras wide open…with my other treasures.
Scott did this portrait of us awhile back and I just discovered it on his iPad. We said goodbye to his sister Lindy yesterday. That was very very hard to do. Although we have been extraordinarily open with our story up to this point, there are many more moments now of the sense that words are not adequate to express the enormity of the situation. Plus there are too many facets to it…where do I begin. I am daily moved by the kindness of strangers, both here in Goa and globally in the blogosphere. I am bowled over continually by the outpouring of love and grace from family and friends–his, mine, ours– and unexpected places. …

Hope you and your families all have a fantastic 4th of …
We’ve been searching all over Goa for a simple “sippy cup” at baby stores and sports stores and could not find what we needed. Luckily Scott’s sister Lindy was coming from America to visit us and asked if we had any requests. Mine was unscented deodorant as I was tired of smelling like a rose…
Here is the new logo for Scott’s Smile 2 the End Foundation. What do you think?
As you can see, Scott’s room is set up as a showcase for his art work. Both giclee prints and originals are on display. Here I am with the Marriott’s manager Alex on the left and their pastry chef Samantha on the right. The occasion? Scott had a little Italian deli food brought in to […]
We are very proud to announce this new article about Scott and his art that appears online at Art to Art Palette Journal. Scott’s great friend Jac Stulberg in Los Angeles (who was part of the LA Luncheon on January 27th) introduced his friend gallerist Tony Clark …
Happy Anniversary, Scott! This is the day we officially met. The rest is history. And herstory. It’s been an amazing adventure to be your partner in passion and friendship.
